Website Launch & Festival Announcement

We are delighted to announce that preggiofestival.com is now live.

With the launch of our website, we officially introduce the first edition of Preggio Festival 2026.

On 21–22 August 2026, the hilltop village of Preggio, in the heart of Umbria, will host a new Italian–Austrian festival dedicated to literature, theatre, and film.

Over two summer days, writers, performers, filmmakers, and audiences will gather in an intimate setting to share readings, performances, screenings, and conversations that explore contemporary voices across languages and borders.

• Preggio Festival is conceived as a space of encounter –
  between countries,
  between artistic disciplines,
  between people.
• With today’s website launch, this journey begins.
